Seminar Description

This free webinar will discuss determination of wind loads on enclosed simple diaphragm buildings of height up to 160 ft using the simplified procedure of ASCE 7-16. The calculation procedure will then be demonstrated using the new version of Wind Simple (V2.0), a software produced to quickly calculate wind loads applied on both the Main Wind Force Resisting System and Components & Cladding. Through multiple examples, the seminar will show how to increase productivity and efficiently complete wind load calculations in simple steps. The seminar will highlight upon the intuitive and user-friendly interface, along with the built-in warnings and functions to help promote fast design and minimize error.

Speaker Bio

Tayseer Tasbahji, M.S., is a Structural Engineer at SKGA. His efforts are focused on structural wind loads and related design requirements. He has been actively involved in the development of SKGA’s wind related structural softwares and co-authoring code support literature.
