Panelization is a big part of construction and will continue to expand and grow as the supply of skilled labor continues to decline, and contractors/owners desire faster construction techniques. Whether it is wall panels, floor panels, or prefinished exterior panels, the options are endless for cold-formed steel panelization.Now, as engineers, we need to design structures that not only meet the building code but can also be built offsite and put together like Legos. What particulars should we look out for? What challenges do we face? What are the limitations? What additional items will we need to design? Speaker Bio
Kirsten Zeydel, S.E., is the President of ZO Consulting and a Structural Consultant with S.K. Ghosh Associates. She is a licensed Structural Engineer, based in Southern California, with over twenty years of experience in the design of cold-formed steel framing. She has led the structural design of exterior/interior non-load-bearing and load-bearing cold-formed steel framing for buildings across the United States. She has also successfully taken many projects through the rigorous California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development and the California Division of the State Architect. In practice, Kirsten Zeydel specializes in panelized cold-formed steel construction and the design/coordination of exterior building “skins” in order to ensure they perform as expected during earthquakes and wind events.

Please note a single registration allows you to have one connection. However, a number of people can view and listen to the seminar using one connection by using an LCD projector (or a large computer monitor) and good computer speakers or a speaker phone.
All attendees, irrespective of the number of registered connections, can earn 0.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or 2.0 professional development hours (PDHs). CEU/PDH certificates are provided free of charge.

- Refunds are limited to 80 percent of fee and must be applied for in writing WITHIN THIRTY DAYS after the scheduled seminar.
