Seminar Description

The webinar will show what calculations are required to determine the residual precompression force from post-tensioning in a slab or beam system. This force can be used to resist diaphragm forces as mentioned in ACI 318 section 18.12.7.2 and 12.5.2.2. How to use the precompression force in chords and drags will also be covered.
