This allows you to have your codes both on your desktop computer and on a laptop. Neither concurrent use on two or more computers nor use in a local area network or other network is permitted.

In order to verify that you are the intended recipient of the document, you need to be online to unlock the document for the first time.

These PDF downloads are digitally protected by ProtectedPDFTM and require you to unlock your document on your computer. Your product requires a serial number for unlocking that will be sent to you in a confirmation email upon purchase.

Question: How do I obtain a serial number to unlock the PDF eBook? |
Answer: On purchase of our PDF eBooks, a confirmation email will be sent to you that will contain links to download the PDF eBooks purchased. Once downloaded, the PDF eBooks will need to be unlocked on the computer where they will be used (see below for details) by using serial numbers that are unique to each PDF eBook. The serial numbers can be obtained by visiting this page and entering the order confirmation number and a security code of each PDF eBook (also found in the confirmation email) in appropriate locations. Please note that once the serial number is processed, no refund will be issued.

Question: What is the process for unlocking ProtectedPDF files on a single computer? |
Answer: In order to unlock ProtectedPDF files successfully you need to insert the serial number in the proper field and click the online unlock button. It will ask you to allow the connection to the Internet and it might ask you this twice. After this it might say that there is a New Version available for download. You want to answer “NO” to this request. You might have to go through this process two or more times until it says that you have been “Successfully Unlocked”.

Answer: Adobe Acrobat Reader is a program that allow users to view PDF files. Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe web site.

Answer: Due to the special features, the only program that will work correctly with the Protected PDFs is the Adobe programs such as Acrobat Reader.
